Terms of Service

01Acceptance & Eligibility

By reserving, purchasing, accessing, or using the FastBox device and its associated services, you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to reserve, purchase, or operate a FastBox device. If you are using FastBox on behalf of a company, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.

02Description of Service

FastBox is a small, fanless on-device instrument that polls publicly accessible web sources at human-reasonable rates and pushes notifications to your phone when an item matches the taste profile and watchlist you have configured. It supports a "bring your own key" (BYOK) model for AI relevance scoring, integrating with Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or a self-hosted Ollama instance at your election. The device is positioned as a monitor and notifier — it does not perform automated checkout, does not log into your retailer accounts, does not bypass per-customer purchase limits, and does not operate residential proxies.

03Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for the BYOK API key stored on your device for AI scoring. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account or device.

04License Grant & Restrictions

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the FastBox firmware, agent runtime, and source-recipe library on your purchased device. The agent runtime core is also published as open source under the MIT license; that grant is governed by its own terms and is independent of the device-bound license below. You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the firmware (except as permitted by law)
• Modify the firmware in ways that circumvent security or licensing mechanisms
• Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the proprietary firmware separately from the hardware
• Use the device to operate a commercial monitoring service for unaffiliated third parties
• Use the device or agent runtime to violate the terms of service of any third-party retailer, marketplace, or platform

Open-source components included on the device are governed by their respective license terms, available at the Open Source page.

05AI Service Disclaimers

FastBox is not a substitute for professional financial, legal, or other expert advice. Do not rely on agent outputs for decisions that require professional judgment.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or availability of any AI model — local or cloud-assisted. Model capabilities may change as the recipe library updates or third-party providers update their services.

FastBox's threshold-gate, quiet-hours, and approval-feedback features are provided to support your review of agent outputs. You remain responsible for configuring those gates appropriately for your needs.

06User Content & Data

You retain full ownership of all content you create, store, or process on your FastBox device — including your watchlist, taste-profile prompt, alert history, source-recipe customizations, and price-history cache. We do not access, collect, or claim any rights to your on-device data.

When you voluntarily submit feedback, feature requests, or bug reports to us, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that feedback for product improvement.

07Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use FastBox to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation, including the U.S. Better Online Ticket Sales Act of 2016 (BOTS Act) or analogous foreign legislation governing automated ticket purchasing
• Bypass per-customer purchase limits, residency restrictions, or anti-bot measures imposed by any retailer or marketplace
• Operate the device with residential proxy services, stealth browsers, or other tooling designed to circumvent anti-automation systems
• Scrape pages behind authentication, paywalls, or any access control, or scrape any source explicitly disallowed in robots.txt
• Use the device to operate accounts on behalf of unaffiliated third parties or to facilitate large-scale resale of constrained-supply goods
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, networks, or accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt FastBox's update or telemetry services
• Use the device to conduct denial-of-service attacks or other abuse of any third party

08Third-Party Services & Integrations

FastBox monitors publicly accessible pages on third-party websites and marketplaces (Amazon, Best Buy, Target, Walmart, Costco, Apple, B&H, Woot, SSENSE, Mr Porter, MATCHES, END., Slam Jam, Edit LDN, Dover Street Market, HBX, brand storefronts, Yahoo Auctions JP, Mercari JP, Grailed, Going.com, SteamDB, and others). These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services. You are responsible for complying with their terms when using FastBox to monitor their public surfaces, including respecting robots.txt and any rate or scope limits they publish.

If you enable a BYOK AI provider, the selected provider's terms (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or others) apply to that traffic and you are billed directly by that provider.

Push notifications are delivered via Apple Push Notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging; their terms apply to that delivery layer.

09Intellectual Property

The FastBox name, brand, hardware design, firmware (excluding open-source components), recipe library, and documentation are the intellectual property of Prizmox Labs LLC. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, trade dress, or proprietary technology beyond the limited license in Section 4. Brand and retailer names referenced in the recipe library and on the FastBox website are the trademarks of their respective owners and are listed only to describe the public sources FastBox can monitor; FastBox is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them.

10Pricing & Billing

Hardware: One-time purchase at the listed price. The pre-launch founders'-batch price of $379 USD is held for waitlist members and is subject to final BOM lock; if our final BOM lands lower, the lower price applies. No recurring subscription fees are required for the base device or its recipe library.

Recipe library updates: Included for the life of the device. We may offer optional vertical recipe packs or advanced feature add-ons in the future; any such offering, and its pricing, will be presented to you at the time it becomes available and will require your explicit opt-in.

BYOK AI costs: If you enable AI scoring with a third-party provider, you are responsible for the cost of that provider's API charges. We never proxy, mark up, or take a cut of those charges; you pay the provider directly.

11Warranty Disclaimer

The FastBox software, firmware, recipe library, and agent services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Hardware warranty is governed separately by the Limited Hardware Warranty below.

12Limited Hardware Warranty

Prizmox Labs LLC warrants the FastBox hardware device against manufacturing defects for two (2) years from the date of delivery. Extended warranty plans may be available at purchase.

Covered: Defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

Not covered:

• Physical damage (drops, liquid, crushing, impact)
• Damage from unauthorized modification, jailbreaking, or firmware tampering
• Normal wear and tear
• Damage from power surges or improper power supply
• Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality
• Environmental damage (excessive heat, humidity, dust)

Remedy: At our discretion, we will repair or replace the defective unit. US-based RMA in five business days across the continental United States. Contact support@prizmox.com to initiate a warranty claim.

13Reservations, Returns & Refunds

Reservation Terms:

• A reservation is a pre-launch commitment, not a guarantee of delivery. Product availability, specifications, pricing (other than the locked reservation price), and ship dates are subject to change.
• Your right to cancel: You may cancel your reservation at any time before the device ships and receive a full refund, no questions asked. Contact support@prizmox.com or use the cancellation link in your reservation confirmation email.
• Our right to cancel: Prizmox Labs LLC reserves the right to cancel any reservation at any time before shipment — including for reasons of product availability, production delays, regulatory requirements, or business decisions. If we cancel your reservation, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid within 7 business days.
• No interest or compensation: Refunds for cancelled reservations are limited to the amount paid. No interest, damages, or additional compensation will be owed by either party upon cancellation.
• Delay notifications: In compliance with the FTC Mail/Internet Order Rule, if we are unable to ship by the stated date, we will notify you of the revised ship date and your right to cancel for a full refund.

Post-Delivery Returns:

30-day money-back guarantee. If FastBox doesn't earn its keep within your first 30 days, return the device for a full refund. The device must be in original condition with all included accessories. We cover return shipping within the continental United States.

EU / UK customers: You have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of delivery, in addition to our 30-day guarantee.

Refund method: All refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days of cancellation (reservations) or receipt of returned device (post-delivery returns).

Founders'-batch shipping scope: The founders' batch ships to the United States and Canada only. Mexico, EU, UK, JP, and KR will be served from general availability once we have RMA partners and FCC / CE / PSE certifications complete in each region.

14Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prizmox Labs LLC's total liability for any claim arising from or related to the device or services is limited to the amount you paid for the device.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including missed deals, items that sold out before you completed checkout, missed restocks, retailer-account suspensions, or BYOK AI overspend — even if we were advised of the possibility.

This limitation applies to claims based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory.

15Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Prizmox Labs LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the device, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights — including the terms of monitored retailers, marketplaces, BYOK AI providers, and applicable laws on automated purchasing, scraping, or unsolicited communications.

16Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising from these Terms will be resolved through binding arbitration administered by JAMS, conducted individually (not as a class action). You may opt out of arbitration by notifying us in writing within 30 days of your purchase.

Class action waiver: You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive any right to participate in class-action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.

17Export Controls

The FastBox device and software may be subject to U.S. export control laws (EAR). You agree not to export, re-export, or transfer the device to any country, entity, or person prohibited by applicable export laws.

18Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email and posted on our website at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the device or services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
